What is Single Sign-On?
Imagine having accounts on 100 different websites. Without Single Sign-On (SSO), you might need 100 different passwords and trust 100 websites to keep them safe (bad idea!)
SSO offers a simpler approach: instead of managing separate passwords for every website, users delegate authentication to a single authentication server.
As a website manager, why would I need Issofeo?
Imagine a world where you don't have to worry about storing passwords, resetting them, wondering about to set up OTPs, and so on. You can achieve this dream today by connecting your website to Issofeo and allowing us to manage user credentials instead of you.
SSO offers a simpler approach: instead of managing separate passwords for every website, users delegate authentication to a single authentication server.
Why not Google or Facebook?
Google and Facebook already provide SSO services, but they also collect significant amounts of user data. Some users may be uncomfortable using these services to sign in to other websites because they are unsure what information is shared.
Issofeo offers an alternative: an SSO provider designed to know only your email address, helping keep the authentication process simple and privacy-focused.
We also believe that support matters. Since SSO isn't the core business of Google or Facebook, getting assistance can sometimes be difficult. At Issofeo, we'll help you through the process whenever you encounter an issue.
How much does Issofeo cost?
Currently in beta - FreeDuring our beta phase, Issofeo is free for both websites and users.
In the future, we plan to introduce a paid model. We haven't decided yet whether websites, users, or both will pay.
